As Chief Executive Officer, Vanessa is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the organization, including fundraising, strategic planning, and ensuring TLC meets its stated goals. Vanessa brings decades of professional experience spanning academia, government, and the non-profit sectors. She holds a B.A. in Political Science from Hunter College and is currently completing her graduate studies at the CUNY Graduate Center.
