Olga Gonzalez serves as the Chief Operating and Finance Officer, overseeing the organization's critical operations and financial health. Her distinguished career began in the public sector, starting with the Office of the Manhattan Borough President, David Dinkins. Following his election as Mayor, she transitioned to the Mayor's Office for Children and Families before being asked to serve as the Mayor's Secretary, a position she held across mayoral administrations. Building on her public sector experience and commitment to serving New York's children and families, Olga joined the Children’s Defense Fund’s New York (CDF-NY) office in 1994 as one of its first employees. There, she served until recently as the Senior Manager of Administration, managing the office’s operations, grants, financial accounts, HR, and IT portfolios. Her extensive background ensures TLC operates with efficiency, transparency, and accountability.
